About
Onur Topac was born in 1990 in Istanbul. He graduated from Istanbul’s Austrian High School in 2009 and went on to receive a Bachelor’s degree from Koç University, Department of Industrial Engineering in 2013. Currently, he is pursuing a Master’s degree in Financial Engineering at Ozyegin University. Mr. Topac started his career in finance in 2008 as a web site specialist at Gedik Investment; subsequently, he interned at FXCM in London in 2012. The following year, he participated in the establishment of the Investment Banking Department at Gedik Investment, leading the way in the Department’s technological transformation. Since April 2015, he has served as CEO at Gedik Girişim Sermayesi Yatırım Ortaklıgı A.S (Gedik Venture Capital Investment Partnership). Onur Topac started to provide support to technology investments and ventures as an individual investor before obtaining the necessary certification to operate as an angel investor in 2015.
