Origins Capital

About

Origin Capital is a venture fund that help launch high-tech startup companies in China. Entrepreneurs in China and from around the globe are invited to apply for the Origin Entrepreneurs program. They review, interview, and select the winning teams, provide seed funding for a minority equity stake in the company. The program is two-month long. The winning teams are expected to come to Beijing, and start building and iterating their products. At the end of the two months, there is a Demo Day, where the teams pitch to a group of carefully selected VCs and/or strategic investors.
