Oriol Pinya

About

Oriol Pinya is a Partner and Co-Head of the Retail & Consumer team. He is also head of the Barcelona office. Oriol joined Apax Partners in 1999 and has both led and participated in a number of key deals in Spain and throughout Europe, including Takko, New Look, Electro-Stocks, Panrico, Itevelesa, Vueling, DMR, easyEverything, and Independer. Prior to joining Apax Partners, Oriol was an associate in the Corporate Finance department at Merrill Lynch, and before that a consultant at the Boston Consulting Group. Oriol holds a Master CEMS from HEC, Paris, a degree in Business Administration (cum laude) from ESADE, Barcelona, and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
