Parallax was founded in January 1999 to make control equity investments in lower middle market software and related technology companies. Parallax invests in companies with revenues between $5 and $100 million where there are creative opportunities to significantly enhance a company's value. We welcome complex transactions or turnarounds including leveraged buy-outs, recapitalizations, corporate divestitures, spin-offs and build-ups. By seeking companies that are undergoing significant change or transition, Parallax distinguishes itself from other buyers who are unable or unwilling to provide a hands-on-approach as many of these opportunities so often require. We actively pursue investments in the USA, Canada, "Developed" Europe and Asia-Pacific.
