Dr. Parviz Tayebati is an entrepreneur and executive with a broad technical background and experience with start up companies. Prior to joining TeraDiode Inc. he founded Camros Capital in March 2007 to focus on private investments. He was previously chairman and CEO of AZNA Corporation which he co-founded in June 2002. Azna Corporation developed and manufactured high speed fiber optic communication lasers with high tolerance to chromatic dispersion to serve the fast growing bandwidth demand. AZNA was acquired by Finisar Corporation in 2007. Before founding Azna Corp, he was VP of business development for the component division at Nortel Networks Optical Components. During the same period, he was President of CoreTek, Inc, a company he founded in 1993 and ran as CEO until it was acquired by Nortel Networks in March 2000 for $1.43B.
