After 20 years building and launching some of the world’s most innovative digital video services, Patrick committed himself to the future of learning as the Co-Founder of Uptime, alongside seasoned entrepreneurs Jamie True and Jack Bekhor. Uptime's mission is to inspire people everywhere to learn, grow and contribute to a better world. Before founding Uptime, Patrick was Director of Media Partnerships at Facebook and Instagram, leading content partnerships with media companies and public figures in Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Patrick began his career in international media and technology as a TV producer for Japan’s public broadcaster, NHK. While living in Tokyo, he produced and directed award-winning educational and documentary TV programs and participated in the launch of the world’s first HDTV channel. He later joined the BBC as a Senior Broadcast Journalist in Japan and South East Asia where he used new technologies to tell stories from often extremely hostile environme
