Patty Arvielo, President and Founder of New American Funding, started her career from scratch. Thirty-five years later, she is a nationally recognized business woman; leading a mortgage bank with over 2,400 employees and 145 branches across the nation. She is influencing the real estate finance industry in terms of lending policy initiatives and she rallies for the upward mobility of women in the workplace overall. Her vast experience, commitment and dedication has led to her recent appointment to a 3-year term on the Consumer Advisory Board by the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB). Patty is also on the Diversity and Inclusion Committee and the Consumer Affairs Advisory Council for the Mortgage Bankers Association. She is a former member of the Fannie Mae Affordable Housing Advisory Council and Freddie Mac Community Lender Advisory Board. Ernst & Young honored her as a winner for the 2016 EY Entrepreneur of The Year® Orange County.
