As Chief Executive Officer and co-founder of LCM Partners and Link Financial Group, Paul Burdell is responsible for the strategic planning and management of several key client accounts and responsible for new product development. From 2008 to 2016 he also acted as a senior advisor to the European Central Bank on it's ABs Loan Level Data initiative as well as Architect and co-founder of the European DataWarehouse. Mr Burdell’s career as an investment banker started with JP Morgan Chase, where he specialized in derivatives and trading bonds. He moved on to senior positions at DLJ and the United Bank of Kuwait before founding Octagon Analytics in 1987. Octagon Analytics was one of the pioneers of the distressed corporate debt market in Europe. In 1988, Paul co-founded The Octagon Group, one of Europe’s initial proprietary hedge funds.
