Pedram Keyani is the Visiting Partner at Pear VC. He is also the Co-Founder and CTO at Helping Hands Community. He is the former director of engineering for the site integrity team at Facebook. Pedram joined Facebook in 2007 as a Software Engineer, where he built core parts of the account protection and spam fighting infrastructure. Pedram regularly sets up Hackathons at Facebook and built, the now infamous, Keg Presence at a Hackathon in 2009. Prior to Facebook, Pedram worked at Google on the social network orkut.com where he built Orkut SMS. When he isn't hacking, Pedram can be found having drinks at Keg Presence.
