Peter Benson is Managing Partner of Life Science Ventures and one of the three co-founders. Peter is responsible for Life Science Ventures overall investment strategy and Investor Relations. During his 25 years in the Life Science industry, Peter has been a senior corporate executive in Big Pharma, start-up CEO, business angel and board member of more than 20 companies, including 5 public, listed companies. In 2010, Peter was closely involved in the successful IPO of the portfolio company Zealand Pharma (NASDAQ OMX Copenhagen: ZEAL). Peter holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Lund and a Master’s degree in Economics from the University of California. In his free time, Peter likes to combine traveling with action-packed activities. Other interests close to his heart are: literature, sports and music.
