Peter S. Friedman

Dr. Friedman is the inventor of both plasma panel sensors (PPS) and ultra-fast, transmissive (UFT) radiation detectors for real-time beam monitoring of ionizing particles and photons in both vacuum and air. Applications include FLASH-RT, external beam radiotherapy (EBRT), nuclear and high energy physics. Dr. Friedman and Integrated Sensors have been awarded 19 U.S. and foreign patents with additional patents pending on our newest FLASH-RT and EBRT technology. Integrated Sensors has received continuous R&D funding from the U.S. government since 2007, primarily from the U.S. Department of Energy (Office of Nuclear Physics) and from the National Cancer Institute (NIH-NCI).
