About

Phuc Than is the managing director of DFJ Vinacapital, a technology investment fund based in Vietnam and co-managed by Draper Fisher Jurvetson and Vinacapital, Vietnam's leading asset management firm. DFJ Vinacapital invests in technology companies with a Vietnam connection, serving both the global and Vietnam market. Previously, Phuc was with Intel Corporation for 23 years, including leading Intel Vietnam from 1999-2009. Under his leadership, Vietnam became one of the fastest growing markets for Intel. Phuc also played a key role in Intel's one billion USD investment to build the largest semiconductor assembly and test factory in Ho Chi Minh City – Vietnam’s first direct investment by a leading technology company. The Vietnamese press named Phuc as one of the 10 most influential people in Vietnam's technology scene. Phuc graduated from the University of California at Davis with a degree in electrical and computer engineering.
