Over the last 25 years, Mr. Collins has been at the forefront of the Canadian telecommunication deregulation and the high-end software development industry. Throughout his career he also gained extensive experience in holding senior management positions in portfolio investment management and in corporate finance. In the course of his career he has led companies with presence in North America and the European market. He also led the restructuring, sales and acquisitions of Canadian and U.S. companies. He raised private equity and has participated in two initial public offerings. At the forefront of telecommunications deregulation, Mr. Collins co-founded a telecommunications company. He later joined Caisse de Dépôt et Placement du Québec as the Founding President of Capital Communications.
