Pierre-Pascal Urbon currently serves as Chairman of Instagrid, and as a Board Member at VAMO and Solarwatt. In addition, he lectures at Harbour University in Barcelona and Bangkok. As CEO & CFO of KOMSA AG, he scaled the Device-as-a-Service business and executed the sales process to the UK-based Westcoast Group, creating Europe’s largest privately held ICT distributor. Previously, as CEO & CFO of SMA Solar Technology AG, he spearheaded international expansion, led the company’s IPO, formed a strategic alliance with Danfoss A/S, and oversaw a comprehensive restructuring in 2014. He has its roots in M&A advisory and a background in banking. He studied economics (Diplom-Kaufmann).
