Pieter van der Made has over 25 years experience as entrepreneur and has a technical background (Engineering and Doctorate degrees in Applied Physics, Delft University of Technology). During his doctorate studies, he co-founded Jason Geosystems and became CEO a number of years later. Jason became a highly successful international E&P software company, the leader in its niche, with offices in 10 countries, and all major international oil companies as clients. In 2002, sold Jason to Fugro, in a very successful transaction for key staff and VC investors. For Fugro, Jason was an important strategic acquisition and marked the start of a new third division, the Geoscience division. After the acquisition, Pieter was CEO of Fugro-Jason for a number of years. He coordinated the integration into Fugro, initiated and oversaw a number of acquisitions and managed further growth.
