Poul Erik Schou-Pedersen has since his graduation from the Technical University of Denmark in 1979 held a number of CEO and board member positions in the Danish and British industrial sector. Through the years, he has built a solid expertise within turnarounds, mergers and acquisitions, business development and value creation in newly established companies. During his 15 years as CEO in Kamstrup, he transformed the domestic, family-driven company into the world’s largest and most profitable manufacturer of energy meters for district heating. He also developed new business areas for remote energy and water meter reading. Before Poul Erik Schou-Pedersen joined Bankinvest Technology as Managing Partner in 2007, he was chairman of the advisory board of Bankinvest’s venture funds BI New Energy Solutions. In 2010, he led a management-buy-out of the venture funds and established NES Partners, where he currently is Managing Partner.
