Prabhu Palani, CFA has led investment teams and built investment processes over an 18-year career at global investment management firms. His experience spans multiple asset classes including fixed income, currencies, and equity, in both systematic and fundamental investment management styles. Prabhu co-founded Red Span Asset Management, LLC, a hedge fund focused on Asia long-short strategies based in Palo Alto, CA. Previously, he was head equity strategist and managing director at Mellon Capital Management in San Francisco where he also served on the Senior Management Committee. At Mellon, Prabhu managed multi-billion dollar US and global portfolios for Mellon's institutional clients worldwide. Prabhu has also worked at Franklin Templeton Investments as SVP and Portfolio Manager, where he helped build Franklin's institutional investment business.
