Pumsuanhang (Michael) Suantak is the Founder and Team Lead of eimiAI, a community-driven initiative building AI tools for low-resource languages in Myanmar and Northeast India. A visionary committed to linguistic equity and digital inclusion, Michael founded eimiAI based on his lived experience with displacement and a deep desire to preserve "living libraries"—the elders and culture of his community—before they are lost. He operates at the intersection of technology and cultural heritage, advocating for a "Digital Sanctuary" where indigenous data is owned by the community. He also leads ASORCOM (Alternative Solutions for Rural Communities), which serves as the organizational backbone for eimiAI.
