Rachan Reddy

Rachan Reddy currently serves as General Partner for IDG Ventures Vietnam. Along with the other General Partners of IDG Ventures Vietnam, he participates in the investment and management decisions of the fund and its portfolio companies, specifically investments within the IT, pharmaceutical, biotechnology and telecommunications sectors. He is based in Ho Chi Minh City. Before joining IDG Ventures, Rachan was a Founding Partner and President of VITC, a US-based telecommunications company specializing in IP services with $30 million in annual revenue. Rachan was responsible for establishing and managing the company’s global wholesale network and retail operations. Prior to his experience in Asia, he worked as a project consultant and was involved with the establishment of S2S Medical Publishing. He was also involved in biomedical research at Northwestern University, UCLA and UCSD. Rachan graduated summa cum laude from UCLA, where he received a BS in Cybernetics/ Systems Engineering. H
