Rajat Gupta

Rajat Kumar Gupta is a prominent Indian-American businessman and former corporate officer, board director and strategic advisor to a variety of notable public- and private-sector institutions. He is the first Indian-born CEO of a global corporation and served for nearly a decade as managing director of McKinsey and Company. He was a member of the board of directors of Goldman Sachs, Procter and Gamble, American Airlines, Harman International, and Genpact, among others. He was also active in other public sector institutions, including co-founder of the Indian School of Business and the America India Foundation and chairman of The Global Fund for AIDS, Malaria, and TB and special advisor to the United Nations.
