Rashid is an industry veteran with more than 12 years of experience in venture capital investing, executive management, and medical technology. As a co-founder and General Partner at ArrowPoint Ventures, he focuses on software and services, e-commerce, Internet, and new media. Prior to co-founding ArrowPoint, Rashid was a Managing Director at Venture Capital Fund of New England (VCFNE) in Wellesley, MA and a co-founder, and Partner, with Blue Sky Ventures (BSV), an early stage technology fund located in Framingham, MA. At Blue Sky, Rashid was responsible for managing the fund’s venture capital investments and led the due diligence efforts for new opportunities. Prior to founding BSV, Rashid was the Director of Business Development, and eventually COO, of Medical Center of Boston International (MCBI), an international healthcare company focused on Telemedicine, which involved negotiating international contracts, raising equity, and structuring the expansion of 39 foreign subsidiary
