Razmig Hovaghimian is the founder and CEO of Hoodline (Pixel Labs), a local news platform that combines machine learning with on-the-ground reporting. He is also the founder and Executive Chairman of Viki.com, a global TV site powered by a volunteer community, reaching 40M fans globally each month. Razmig co-founded Viki as a graduate student, led it from bootstrap to $25M in funding, and an exit to Rakuten for $200M+ in 2013. In 2015, he joined Rakuten’s Corporate Board as a Board Observer, and in 2016 was named the company’s first Entrepreneur in Residence.
