Reid is based in Vancouver, where he is responsible for the timberlands management strategy at Brookfield and is focused on the acquisition and management of private timberlands. Since establishing Brookfield’s Vancouver office in 2003, Reid has led the acquisition of over 3.0 million acres of private timberlands in North and South America and leads the teams responsible for the management and operations of Brookfield’s timberlands platform. Reid holds a Master of Science in soil science from the University of British Columbia and is a British Columbia Registered Professional Forester.
