The Relay Foundation empowers students ages 17-25 throughout the San Francisco Bay Area to start local, community-empowering, environment-enriching businesses. At their yearly California Community Challenge, Relay sources the experiences of local and global business leaders, community innovators, and serial social entrepreneurs in order to provide actionable feedback for their youths’ business plans. Local startup services also sponsor items such as office space, legal assistance, and long-term mentors. Finally, Relay chooses teams that they feel are most able to grow and invest in them so that they can begin doing great things.
