Ms. Renee Connolly serves as Vice President of US Communications of EMD Serono, Inc. She is responsible for all external and internal communications, including public relations and community affairs. Under Ms. Connolly’s leadership, the company has been awarded several prestigious community and employee awards, including the Boston Business Journal’s Best Places to Work; The Scientist Magazine’s Best Places to Work; Science Top Employer; the Boston Business Journal’s Corporate Philanthropy Award; and the Mass High Tech Citizenship Award. In 2011, Ms. Connolly was named as a recipient of a Working Mother of the Year award by Working Mother magazine. Ms. Connolly sits on the board of the Massachusetts Conference for Women. She is a member of the Healthcare Businesswoman’s Association, and is active in PhRMA, BIO, and the Massachusetts Biotechnology Council. She received her undergraduate degree from Ithaca College in NY.
