Richard joined Santander in 2010 as Head of Origination for Global Structuring within the Global Banking and Markets division contributing new ideas to the bank and its wholesale clients. Prior to joining Santander Richard worked in investment banking for 17 years devising innovative transactions in structuring and corporate finance roles at major institutions including Merrill Lynch and Lehman Brothers. Richard holds a BA in Philosophy and Linguistics and trained as a chartered accountant with Price Waterhouse.
