Richard Is the Managing Partner of RecapHealth Ventures. Richard founded RecapHealth to help drive scale innovation and social impact in public and private health care organizations in Canada and beyond. Prior to founding RecapHealth Richard was a partner in an international mid market private equity firm; a co-founder of a technology focused venture capital firm operating in Canada and Silicon Valley and earlier in his career managed venture capital investments for two Business Development Bank of Canada (BDC) funds. Over his career Richard has led investments in more than 30 companies in transactions representing over $500 Million in invested capital. In addition Richard has been a software entrepreneur and more recently led turnarounds in two health focused companies as interim President and COO.
