Richard Stockton Braemar is a highly accomplished hospitality executive who has more than 25 years of experience in the industry. He joined Braemar Hotels and Resorts as President and CEO in 2016, and since then he has worked tirelessly to grow the company's portfolio, improve revenue growth, and deliver strong equity returns and dividends for shareholders. Prior to joining Braemar, Richard was with Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide for over 20 years. There he served in a number of executive-level positions, including President of The Luxury Collection division and Chief Operating Officer for the Europe, Africa, and Middle East region. He is honored to lead such an esteemed company as Braemar Hotels and Resorts and looks forward to continuing its legacy as a leader in full-service luxury accommodation options.
