Dr. Robin Schubert is CEO of BASELABS and a co-founder. Prior to this task he was head of the “data fusion” research group at the professorship of communications engineering. In these roles, he had various project lead tasks. For instance, he coordinated the technical activities concerning vehicle localization in the European research projects SAFESPOT and CoVeL. Furthermore, he was responsible for different research & development projects with industry partners, e.g., IAV GmbH or Magna Electronics Europe GmbH & Co. KG. In 2011, he successfully finished his doctoral thesis in the field of “lane change assistants” and has been awarded with the “Hermann-Appel-Preis” for his work.
