Roch Charbonneau

Roch Charbonneau is an Entrepreneur in Residence in the Diversified Portfolio. He joined BDC Venture Capital in the fall of 2005 and brings over 30 years of leadership and operating experience from the telecom and information and communication technologies (ICT) industries. Before joining BDC, Roch spent 3 years with Superna Business Consulting as a senior partner, where he worked as a strategic consultant defining network evolution strategies for services providers and large financial institutes. During the same period, he was an angel investor and an advisor with Ottawa-based early stage start-ups. Previously, during 22 years at Nortel, Roch held a variety of leadership positions including R&D, system engineering, manufacturing, product management, market development, business and network planning. In his last position at Nortel, Roch was Vice President, Business and Network Planning.
