Bott has been President and CEO of SEVEN Networks since 2006, and has been a member of SEVEN’s board of directors since 2002. Previously, he served as COO of Phone.com (now Openwave Systems), providing infrastructure and application software for wireless carriers and handset OEMs, and as CEO of Onebox.com (San Mateo, California), a leading provider of Web–based communications services, which was acquired by Phone.com in 2001. Bott joined Onebox.com from Adobe Systems, where he was Executive Vice President, Product Divisions. Prior to Adobe, Bott was at Silicon Graphics (Mountain View, California), where he was last Senior Vice President of Enterprise Technologies. Before joining Silicon Graphics, Bott worked at Pyramid Technology Corporation, last as Chief Technology Officer. Bott holds a B.S. in Mathematics from Stanford University and a Ph.D. in Artificial Intelligence/Cognitive Science from the University of California, San Diego.
