Rouven Dresselhaus is Founding Partner at Cavalry Ventures, a leading European Venture Fund that he co-led until 2024. His most notable investments at Cavalry include Spread.ai, Forto and Planetly (acq. by OneTrust). He also served on numerous boards, e.g. at BRYTER and Sofía Salud. Rouven started his career at Morten Sondergaard and then moved to Capnamic Ventures. In parallel, as a member of the advisory board, he spearheaded the digitization initiative of his family business Joseph Dresselhaus GmbH & Co. KG (acq. by Nimbus) comprising core processes such as finance, HR, logistics and procurement. Rouven has invested in more than five dozen startups and participated in over two hundred funding rounds.
