Roy is a Vice President with Raine. Roy joined the firm at its inception in 2009. Roy's professional background includes more than 15 years of experience in the technology, media and telecom sectors in the U.S., Europe and Asia with a focus on strategic and financial advisory work. Prior to Raine, he was a member of the investment banking division at Goldman Sachs in the firm's technology, media and telecom group based in Los Angeles. His principal investing, financial advisory and financing experience includes work in the film, entertainment, animation, video game, cinema exhibition, e-commerce, broadcast and cable, 3D and consumer electronics sectors totaling more than $35 billion in transaction value with companies such as Clear Channel Communications, The Walt Disney Company, Pixar, DreamWorks Animation, Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer, Providence Equity Partners and OpenSky.
