Roy Saar has served as a member of our board of directors since January 2007. Before joining Mangrove in 2011, Roy had been doing business on 4 different continents and He have now been looking at the world of technology from very different perspectives throughout his career. He have been active in Software, IT Services and the Internet and he have acted alternatively as a business angel, a VC and an entrepreneur, having founded and developed several start-ups himself over the past 15 years. He bring corporate, start-up and investment experience to the table. This helps him to better support their entrepreneurs during the first steps of their ventures and to better protect their interests at later stages. He strongly believe in out of the box thinking and a no bull approach and he introduce investment opportunities to the team only when he have been intrigued by both a business idea and a founding team.
