Ruben Salazar is Senior Vice President and the Head of Product & Solutions at Visa Latin America and the Caribbean - He drives Visa’s entire portfolio of Core Products, Digital Platforms and the Innovation centers in the region. With over 20 years of experience in financial services, he sets the direction for Product and innovation Strategy for the region, to ensure Visa continues to be the leading payments network. Previously, Ruben was responsible for the integration of new digital capabilities with core payments platforms in Asia Pacific (based in Singapore) as the Head of Product Design & Development, he was leading the delivery of a pipeline of product enhancements, go-to-market plans, segment solutions and consumer experiences to support issuers and partners in securing revenue growth. Mr. Salazar began his career at Citigroup, Latin America, where for almost 10 years he worked on assignments spanning Card Business Management, Business Development for the Diners Club Franchise,
