Rumi Morales serves as Head of CME Ventures, a wholly-owned subsidiary of CME Group that makes minority stake investments in early stage technology companies whose innovative products and services may impact the financial services industry. Areas of expertise include artificial intelligence, quantum computing, and distributed ledger/blockchain technologies. She currently also serves as an Advisory Member at the Chamber of Digital Commerce. Previously at CME, Rumi served as Executive Director, International Corporate Development and Finance, where she sourced, structured and negotiated international business development opportunities with other global exchanges. Before joining CME Group, Rumi spent several years at Goldman Sachs, last serving as head of the Asia arm of its Global Markets Institute based in Hong Kong.
