Prior to joining Pritzker Group, Ryan was a Director at Madison Dearborn Capital Partners, a Chicago-based firm that has raised and managed an aggregate of $23 billion of private equity capital. Ryan focused on investments in business services as well as technology, media and telecommunications services and served on the boards of six different portfolio companies during his ten years with the firm. Prior to Madison Dearborn, Ryan was an Associate at Welsh, Carson, Anderson & Stowe, a New York-based private equity firm that has raised and managed $22 billion of capital. Ryan also previously worked for Morgan Stanley Capital Partners (now Metalmark Capital). Ryan received an A.B. in Economics from Princeton University and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.
