Sabrina Liak is Managing Director at Goldman Sachs and is primarily responsible for energy and power investments within the private equity business of Goldman Sachs Investment Partners. She has been a member of Ogin’s Board of Directors since 2009. During her time at Goldman Sachs, Sabrina has been involved in several of the firm’s significant power investments, including the $1.1 billion acquisition of Linden power plant from El Paso and the $2.4 billion acquisition of Cogentrix Energy, an independent power producer with a portfolio of 26 power plants. Sabrina manages many portfolio investments, including the fund’s public investments in independent power producers and integrated utilities. Sabrina has been with Goldman Sachs and focused on private equity investing in energy and power since 2001. She earned an M.B.A. in Business Administration from the Richard Ivey School of Business at the University of Western Ontario and is a CFA charter holder.
