Scot French is a Governing Partner of HPS Investment Partners, a premier global investment firm focused on discovering investment opportunities and creating capital solutions for high-end clients worldwide. At HPS, Mr. French serves as the Portfolio Manager for the firm’s Strategic Investment Partners Funds. The Strategic Investment Partners Funds manages various strategies across the capital structure, ranging from syndicated leveraged loans and high-yield bonds to privately negotiated senior secured debt and mezzanine investments, asset-based leasing and private equity. Before beginning his tenure at HPS in 2007, Mr. French was Managing Director and Head of Private Investments for Citigroup Global Special Situations, a credit-focused, on-balance-sheet proprietary investment fund. Within this division, he managed a portfolio of private mezzanine and private equity investments in North America, Europe and Latin America.
