He is best known as the founder of Media.net Communications, Inc., in Los Angeles, a global provider of telecommunications and software services to major entertainment production companies. The company’s clients have included movie series such as Harry Potter, Star Wars, Lord of the Rings, and Pirates of the Caribbean. Scott also founded Digital Services, LLC, a cable television company serving the multi-family apartment industry, and previously managed the business services and Internet access subsidiaries of MediaOne (now Comcast). In addition, he has advised many leading technology companies on corporate strategy and product innovation.
