Seamus O’Hara

About

Seamus O’Hara is a Partner of Seroba Kernel Life Sciences Limited and was a co-founder of Seroba. He has a background in R&D in the pharmaceutical industry and commercialisation of technology from Irish universities. Since 2002 Seamus has been an active venture investor with Seroba and sits on the Boards of portfolio companies Opsona Therapeutics, Alimentary Health and Novate Medical, and is an Observer to the Board of Labcyte, Inc. He is also a Director and co-founder of BioConnect Ireland, the leading networking association in the life science sector in Ireland. Seamus previously held a variety of positions in the pharmaceutical industry with AstraZeneca, GlaxoSmithKline and Eli Lily. Seamus also held the position of Business Development Manager with BioResearch Ireland, an Irish Government agency supporting the commercialisation of technology from Irish universities.
