Seed Engine is a startup accelerator, launched in 2012, aiming to coach and mentor entrepreneurs into becoming world class leaders and efficiently and successfully operate their kickass ventures. The experienced team of venture capitalists, coaches and psychologists run 2×12 week accelerator programmes per year, each consisting of a maximum of 10 startups. The startups we look for generally haven’t launched yet… They’re ideas in alpha or beta stages of development. Entrepreneurs choose Seed Engine because of the strength of the mentorship and coaching programme, access to networks, access to capital as well as R100 000 seed capital in return for 20% equity. We look for startups that display the strongest teams (including at least one techie) that can execute and implement their highly innovative, disruptive and scalable businesses and seek to develop them into becoming high growth companies.
