Seedsummit is the first and only international full-stack legal hub for early-stage founders. It is a collaborative effort by law firms and early-stage VCs to bring transparency to European legal documents and highlight best practices across the region. We hope to shed some light on a company-building journey so that the first miles of the ride are easier, faster, and more affordable. We recommend anyone who intends to use these free template documents consult with an attorney, licensed to practice in one’s jurisdiction before using Seedsummit documents. Seedsummit started in 2009 as a way to shed light on a founder’s early-stage legal journey. What started as an open-source term sheet has led to a full-stack platform featuring template documents across Europe’s main startup hubs.
