Shai Agassi is a successful Israeli entrepreneur with proven track record who sold three of his startups for the aggregate sum of more than $500M+ in total. Agassi is most recognized for his role as founder of Better Place - a globally renowned leader in the EV space. He is the original inventor of the modern incarnation of the automated battery switch concept and the business model of treating the EV battery as consumable, rather than as an attached component. Prior to that, Agassi served as the President of SAP's Product and Technology where he managed 12,000 engineers in 50 countries around the world. Agassi was the youngest member of SAP's management board and is credited with a number of its key products and technology products.
