Shawn Leslie has over 40 years of experience in the employee benefits Industry, working initially with a major group insurance and group retirement plan provider for 12 years (final position was Senior Employee Benefits Consultant). Mr. Leslie worked in western Canada prior to moving to Toronto in 1982 and has held many senior positions in the employee benefit field with the last 28 years as President and CEO of The Leslie Group Limited whose primary focus is on group insurance and group retirement plans. Mr. Leslie founded The Leslie Group Limited in 1992 with an objective of increasing value for Canadian corporations in the employee benefits area. He has a B.A. from the University of Manitoba and a CLU. Mr. Leslie was also awarded the Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee medallion in 2012.
