Waseem Shahid, known by his celebrity name Sheraki (stylized as $heraki), is a Canadian singer, rapper, entertainer, event planner, and sound engineer. He was born Wasim Shahid on 6 April 1992 in Multan, Punjab, Pakistan, to Shahid Naseem and Aisha Shahid, and moved to Canada in 2001. Sheraki has worked with many famous labels such as Beyond Records and T-Series. He has worked with Pakistani singer Naseebo Lal on Beyond Records' Roya Karenga, a Punjabi song. The song Roya Karenga has garnered over 2.6 million views and supported Sheraki in gaining popularity among Punjabi listeners.
