Shigeru Fukunaga

Shigeru Fukunaga is dedicated to the Carlyle Japan Venture Partners. Prior to joining Carlyle in 2001, he was a principal at Crimson Ventures as one of the funding members of Crimson Tokyo. During the last six years, he has been involved in more than 30 investments throughout Asia, Japan, and the U.S. Mr. Fukunaga received a BA degree from Waseda University, school of commerce. He also completed an Executive Course in Entrepreneurship at Babson College as a member of the U.S. and Japan Venture Capitalist Exchange Program sponsored by the Japanese Government.
