Mr. Shunji Takehana is a venture partner focusing on healthcare investments who was seconded from Ajinomoto North America, Inc. in August of 2015. He joined Ajinomoto Co., Inc. in 1997 where he engaged in the R&D of pharmaceuticals and biomarkers for 15 years. Prior to joining MGI, he worked for North American Research and Innovation Center, Ajinomoto North America, Inc. and was in charge of R&D management in the healthcare field. He holds a Master’s degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences from the Graduate School of Pharmaceutical Sciences, University of Tokyo.
