Sienna Ventures, formerly Sienna Holdings, is a California-based venture capital firm that was founded in 1990. We are an early-stage technology investor that has offices in San Rafael, California as well as in New York City. Our primary focus is on companies that provide software, medical technology, wireless communications, Internet infrastructure, cloud computing, ecommerce and networking where the applications of technology create sustainable advantages. The companies that we target for our portfolio are in need of investments between $5 million and $25 million dollars to fund the start-up of their businesses. We also partner with other investors including private equity firms to provide growth capital for a wide range of mid-sized companies as a minority investor. We often serve on the board of directors of companies in which we are a minority investor.
