Simon is Founder and Director of Startive Ventures. With two decades of experience in high growth technology businesses in both Australia and the United States, Simon has worked on all levels and aspects of technology companies; from employee, to consultant, to founder & CEO of one of Australia's most successful technology startups. His technical expertise includes proficiency in multiple software development languages, computer security and vulnerability analysis, and he is co-author and inventor of a number of granted technology patents. Focusing on consumer-centric software and Internet enabled technology he founded, and was CEO of WinGuides, which later became PC Tools. With Simon as CEO PC Tools grew to over $100 million dollars in revenue, more than 250 employees and offices in 7 countries.
